In this talk, the basic principles of the system will be presented along with the challenges facing its development. Our clinical trials will then be presented demonstrating the potential benefits of the system. Future work and a road map to the development of the system will finally be presented.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ahmad Haidar<\/strong> received his Masters from \u00c9cole Polytechnique de Montr\u00e9al, and his PhD from McGill University in 2013. He worked previously at the University of Cambridge developing mathematical methods to create virtual patients for computer assessment of artificial pancreas systems.
