This leadership event is organized for youth who are 14 to 18 years old, and will celebrate Montreal women leaders under the theme: The Effects of Cultural Expectations and Behavioural Norms on Women\u2019s Leadership.\u00a0<\/p>\n
For this occasion, three women leaders who work in various fields across Montreal have been invited:\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ms Anne-Marie Hubert works as Managing Partner, Advisory services at Ernst & Young Canada.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ms Ruthanne Huising teaches Organizational Behaviour at the Desautels Faculty of Management at McGill University.<\/p>\n
\u2022 Ms Karen Cho is a Chinese-Canadian filmmaker most known for her compelling and socially-engaging documentaries.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This initiative is part of a series of actions designed to develop the capacity of youths to identify and respond to barriers affecting their full participation in civic, political and community life.\u00a0<\/p>\n
This event\u00a0is\u00a0hosted by the participants of the group OWL (Optimizing Women\u2019s Leadership), with the support of Breast Cancer Action Montreal and Status of Women Canada.<\/p>\n
