Help make our vision a reality \u2013 Apply today!<\/p>\n<p><b>Volunteer Associate<\/b><br \/>Full Time<\/p>\n<p><b>JOB SUMMARY<\/b><\/p>\n<p>The Ometz Volunteer Associate\u2019s role is to assist in the coordination, development, implementation and evaluation of volunteer department activities and programs.<\/p>\n<p><b>RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Recruit, train and support volunteers<\/li>\n<li>Organize and supervise specific volunteer programs and related services<\/li>\n<li>Plan strategies to market and publicize departmental programs<\/li>\n<li>Participate in team meetings around various departmental objectives<\/li>\n<li>Fulfill all administrative and data requirements<\/li>\n<li>Serve on agency committees, as needed<\/li>\n<li>Work in collaboration with agency departments and external community resources and institutions<\/li>\n<li>Plan departmental events<\/li>\n<li>Participate in staff development programs<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>REQUIREMENTS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Undergraduate degree in relevant area of study<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with volunteers<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of Jewish Community<\/li>\n<li>Fluent in French and English; Hebrew, Russian considered an asset<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of community resources<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills<\/li>\n<li>Computer Proficiency: Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel<\/li>\n<li>Presentation skills; development and implementation<\/li>\n<li>Able to develop relationships at multiple levels; institutional, professional, volunteer<\/li>\n<li>Effective communication skills; written and spoken<\/li>\n<li>Some evenings and weekends will be required<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We thank all candidates for submitting their r\u00e9sum\u00e9s.
