Le d\u00e9ploiement de mesures de relance \u00e9conomique \u00e9tait pourtant le moment tout indiqu\u00e9 pour accro\u00eetre cette importante infrastructure sociale qui aurait eu \u00e0 la fois l&rsquo;avantage de soutenir les m\u00e9nages plus vuln\u00e9rables et celui de stimuler l&rsquo;activit\u00e9 \u00e9conomique.<BR\/><BR\/>La r\u00e9alisation de nouveaux logements aurait pu donner sa pleine mesure au Qu\u00e9bec o\u00f9 on r\u00e9pertoriait en fin d&rsquo;ann\u00e9e plus de 225 projets d&rsquo;habitation communautaire en pr\u00e9paration dans toutes les r\u00e9gions. C&rsquo;est un potentiel de 11 500 logements dont plusieurs auraient pu aller de l&rsquo;avant \u00e0 court terme avec un effet imm\u00e9diat sur l&rsquo;\u00e9conomie.<BR\/><BR\/>Par ailleurs, la Coalition note que la moiti\u00e9 des 2,075 milliards $ allou\u00e9s au logement social est destin\u00e9e \u00e0 la r\u00e9novation des logements sociaux.
