As a result of this placement, we are expecting to reach private corporations members of ANDI and increase their (staff and executives) and their employees on regard to Human Rights.<\/p>\n<p\/>\n<p><strong>As a volunteer, you will:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinate with the Human Rights and Gender Industrial committees on the creation and execution of an action plan to train on the Human Rights of the executives, staff and employees of ANDI members<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to the facilitation of training and materials<\/li>\n<li>Research and needs assessment<\/li>\n<li>Support actions aimed at promoting and disseminating the activities carried out by the Industrial Human Rights Committee and the companies that are part of it.<\/li>\n<li>Support other HR initiatives executed by ANDI and Cuso International<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p\/>\n<p><strong>Essential Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>University degree in social science, international development and\/or equivalent experience in a related field.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p\/>\n<p><strong>Essential Background:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Knowledge of issues related to Human Rights<\/li>\n<li>Experience with the private sector<\/li>\n<li>Practical research experience with a variety of stakeholders (CSOs, MSMEs, NGOs, local and national government)<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of inclusive participatory approaches, amongst a variety of stakeholders, including gender-sensitive methods<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated experience of working in multi-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p\/>\n<strong>What\u2019s in it for YOU? Each year, we mobilize hundreds of volunteer professionals to work alongside local partners to maximize their impact through capacity building. We work in partnership with governments, civil society organizations, multilateral agencies and the private sector to develop and deliver programs aimed at advancing gender equality, promoting the empowerment of women and girls, and improving access to and quality of economic opportunities for young people.<\/p>\n<p\/>\n<p><strong>Project &#8211; Sharing Canadian Expertise for Inclusive Development and Gender Equality (SHARE)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cuso International will deliver the Sharing Canadian Expertise for Inclusive Development and Gender Equality (SHARE) project, with a contribution from Global Affairs Canada (GAC) over seven years (2020-2027). SHARE aims to improve the economic and\/or social well-being of the poorest, most marginalized and vulnerable people, particularly women and girls, in developing countries, with a view to contribute to the Sustainable Development Goals. In addition to increasing engagement of Canadians in international development and key global issues, this project will aim to increase the performance of country partners to deliver more inclusive, innovative and environmentally sustainable development initiatives that advance gender equality, in support of the action areas of Canada\u2019s Feminist International Assistance Policy.<\/p>\n<p\/>\n<p><strong>Partner &#8211;\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Asociaci\u00f3n Nacional de Industriales<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The National Association of Industrialists of Honduras (ANDI) was founded in 1958 in Tegucigalpa thanks to the initiative of a group of entrepreneurs and emerged as a response of the industrial sector to the establishment of unions after the strike of 1954 and during the regime of Ram\u00f3n Villeda Morales had become very strong.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Requisitos<\/p>\n<div>\n<p\/>\n<p\/>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div>Prestaciones<\/p>\n<div>Terms and Conditions<\/p>\n<p>Cuso International terms and conditions allow you to lead a modest and healthy lifestyle while being effective in your placement. This support package will cover basic living expenses for one volunteer and is not intended to cover home-based expenses (ex. loans, support payments, etc.) or luxury items such as imported items in placement or international personal travel.<\/p>\n<p\/>\n<p><strong>Support Package<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Modest monthly living allowance (varies depending on country)<\/li>\n<li>Accommodation while in placement<\/li>\n<li>Return airfare and visa\/work permit costs<\/li>\n<li>Cost of required vaccinations, antimalarial medication, and health insurance<\/li>\n<li>Pre-departure training and in-country orientation (more details below)<\/li>\n<li>On the ground support through our Cuso International country program office<\/li>\n<li>Access to Employee Assistance Program while in placement and upon return<\/li>\n<li>Bonus: Additional return flight home or cash in lieu after 12 months of service for volunteers who extend for another 6 months<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p\/>\n<p><strong>Other Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Please note that if you are shortlisted for the placement, you will be required to:<\/li>\n<li>Provide two Professional References and one Personal Reference<\/li>\n<li>Complete an oral assessment during your preliminary telephone interview in the language required for your placement<\/li>\n<li>Obtain a Police Check at our request<\/li>\n<li>Complete a full medical exam and be medically cleared by the Cuso International Medical Advisor prior to your departure<\/li>\n<li>Due to the COVID-19 situation, be double vaccinated in accordance with the\u00a0<a title=\"\" href=\"https:\/\/covid19.trackvaccines.org\/agency\/who\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">World Health Organization-approved vaccines.<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p\/>\n<p><strong>Fundraising<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We ask each volunteer, regardless of placement length, to raise $2,000. All volunteers receive support from Cuso International to help achieve the goal through fundraising.
