New bikes for deserving young people: the 2021 Avi Morrow New Bicycle Distribution candidate nomination is now open!

Montreal, Thurday, January 28, 2021. We are proud to announce the official opening of the 2021 Edition of the Avi Morrow Annual New Bicycles Distribution!

Thanks to Mr. Avi Morrow, a donor who has chosen to remain anonymous for 35 years by presenting himself under the pseudonym of Mister Bike Man, Sun Youth has been distributing new bicycles annually since 1984. Unfortunately, Avi Morrow has passed away, but his generosity is still very much alive. Thanks to the arrangements he made before his passing, we will be able to hold this annual bicycle distribution for many years to come.

This program is aimed at young people aged 3 to 17 from the greater Montreal area. New bicycles will be distributed to candidates who have shown exceptional courage in difficult situations or whose actions have had a positive influence in their community. Each year, Sun Youth gives out around 100 new bicycles, helmets and locks to extraordinary young people.

You can nominate a deserving young person by filling in the application form at https://www.imakeanonlinedonation.org/jeunesseausoleil-sunyouth/BIKES/.

We accept applications from today to March 15: please note that no application will be accepted after this date!
